TSA Is Cool With Passengers Bringing One Elaborate Snack On Flights
BY Michelle Welsch
While you can't pack all sorts of food for a flight, you can craft a charcuterie board from certain items approved by the TSA and enjoy it on your airplane seat.
Solid cheeses, meats, cookies, crackers, dried fruits, snack bars, nuts, and chocolates are allowed. Hummus, honey, jams, and peanut butter are okay in amounts up to 3.4oz/100 ml.
With no liquids or items that could ruffle TSA feathers, you won't need to worry about setting off any detectors as you make your way to the departure gate.
