Throw Frozen Dumplings Into Your Boiling Ramen For An Easy, Hearty Meal
BY KAREN HART
By adding frozen dumplings to your ramen, you'll be able to cook and enjoy two meals in one. The soft, pillowy steamed dumplings soak up the flavors of the savory ramen broth.
Start by boiling water in a pot on the stove, then rest two chopsticks across the rim of the pot, close enough together to balance frozen dumplings on top.
Rest your dumplings on the chopsticks and cover the pot so the dumplings steam. Then, add ramen and its seasoning packet to the water and let it cook for a few minutes.
Alternatively, you can place the dumplings directly in the pot of water with the noodles and broth, so they cook alongside the ramen and develop a richer taste.
