This Is Who Really Makes Costco's Kirkland Signature French Vodka
BY NIKITA EPHANOV
In the last few years, Costco's Kirkland Signature spirits have turned heads, and a bottle garnering special attention is their French vodka, which is well-priced yet tasty.
Many hypothesized that the clear booze was a rebottling of Grey Goose due to similarities in taste and texture, but the Gayant Distillery of Douai, France, actually crafts it.
The distillery operates in the same Cognac region of France from where Grey Goose hails, using similarly sourced well water, so the resultant vodka takes on a reminiscent palate.
From Gayant Distillery, the distributor, LeVecke Corporation, delivers the bottles to Costco stores, where this delicious vodka is often sold for under $30.
