This Fruit Contains The Highest Amount Of Carbs Per Cup

When it comes to carbohydrate and sugar content, not all fruits are created equal. There is a large variance among different types of fruit, which depends on factors like water and fiber content and the typical serving amount.
The banana contains about 30 grams of net carbohydrates, followed by a cup of mango with 22 grams and pineapple with 19 grams per cup. However, the most carb-heavy is breadfruit, which has nearly 60 grams of net carbs per cup.
Breadfruit is a large, prickly oval-shaped fruit weighing between seven and 12 pounds and is a versatile fruit enjoyed across all stages of ripeness. This fruit tastes starchy and similar to an artichoke in its early stages, while it has a creamy texture and sweet flavor when it fully ripens.
