There's One Tough Cut Of Steak At Longhorn Steakhouse You Should Avoid
BY Stephanie Friedman
Longhorn Steakhouse is famous for its steaks. Unfortunately, not everything the restaurant offers is worth ordering, such as the Renegade Sirloin.
The dish is a lean center-cut top sirloin seasoned with the chain's signature Prairie Dust. However, the meat is hard to chew and lacks a flavor worth the effort.
Top sirloin doesn't generally have to be a tough cut, but it does require proper preparation and cooking. This could be where Longhorn goes wrong with the Renegade Sirloin.
It's worth noting that some reviews reported the steak having a buttery texture, so it may just be a hit-or-miss option.
