The Viral Dubai Treat Mimicked By Costco's New Box Of Chocolates

The Dubai chocolate, which is rare to find anywhere but Dubai, went viral online. It wasn't available in America until Costco recently launched a box of tiny Dubai chocolate cups.
The original Dubai chocolate features Knafeh — a Middle Eastern dessert made of shredded, fried phyllo dough — and a rich pistachio cream packed inside a chocolate bar.
Spotted at a Michigan outlet by @costcohotfinds, the Costco offering is priced at $17.99. Each box offers 41 small cups that are the perfect balance of sweet, smooth, and crunchy.
Costco's chocolate cups are small enough to pop directly into your mouth, making them a bit less messy than the famously thick and gooey classic Dubai chocolate bar.
The cups — made by Belgian chocolate brand Bouchard — are currently available in stores across the Midwest, but Costco is working hard to bring them to other locations as well.
The Dubai chocolate was created by Dubai resident Sarah Hamouda, who launched a chocolate brand, Fix Dessert Chocolatier, in 2021. Her brand became famous when the bars went viral.
