The Trick For Stabilizing A Flimsy Roasting Pan
BY JAVARIA AKBAR
While foil roasting pans are convenient for large dishes, their bendy texture makes taking them in and out of an oven hard, especially if there are liquids inside that can spill.
There’s an easy solution to this problem: place the pan on top of a flat baking sheet. This gives the pan some stability and a strong foundation for you to grab onto.
You can lift the sheet pan in and out of the oven while the foil roasting pan sits in the center. The baking sheet will also catch any spills, helping you keep your oven clean.
This simple step makes it easier to check your food. You can also slide the baking sheet out and move it between oven racks much more easily to make space for other items.
