The Simple, Protein-Packed Way To Bulk Up Instant Ramen
BY ELIZABETH OKOSUN
While instant ramen is quick and easy to make, it may not be filling. To ensure a delicious, substantial meal, consider bulking it up by simmering some meat in the broth.
Since cooking meat isn't instantaneous, use thin slices or add proteins that cook quickly, like shrimp. For example, when using beef, the slices should be less than half an inch.
Slicing meat that thinly may be difficult, so cut it while it's frozen to make the process easier. Once it's thin enough, drop it into the boiling broth and let it cook.
