The Simple Hack To Clean A Foggy Blender With Baking Soda And Vinegar
BY MOLLY HARRIS
Blenders can appear cloudy over time due to frequent use, even if they're cleaned thoroughly. To restore a blender's shine, use a powerful, classic duo: baking soda and vinegar.
Baking soda provides gentle scrubbing particles, vinegar dissolves grease, and their fizzy power effectively cleans those difficult-to-reach corners of your blender's pitcher.
Add baking soda to the blender, followed by an equal amount of white vinegar. Let the mixture sit for 5 to 10 minutes so it breaks down the cloudy residue.
For stubborn cloudiness, use a scrubbing brush to gently scrub it clean. Then, pour out the solution, thoroughly rinse the blender jar with warm water, and dry with a soft cloth.
