The Secret For Getting Faster Roasted Garlic Is Your Air Fryer
By ERICA ANDREWS
Roasting garlic in the oven can take 40 minutes or longer, but you can save time by roasting it in your air fryer instead, which takes about half the time.
To do so, slice the bottom brown part of a head of garlic (with the shell on). Put it on a piece of aluminum foil and drizzle it with high-quality olive oil, salt, and pepper.
Wrap the foil around the entire head of garlic, then place it in the air fryer and cook at about 350 to 390 degrees Fahrenheit for around 25 to 35 minutes.
Once the garlic looks caramelized, remove it from the air fryer with gloves or tongs and let it cool for 10 minutes. After that, the cloves should fall right out of the shells.
This method tends to result in crispier garlic, which means it won’t be quite as spreadable, but it will be ideal for blending into a tomato sauce of your favorite pasta dish.
