The Restaurant Mistake That May Be Costing You Superb Service
BY NIKKI MUNOZ
Dining at a restaurant can be a nice treat, but if you’re often disappointed by the speed or quality of the service at a popular spot, avoid this planning mistake.
The most popular time to go out to dinner is around 7 or 8 in the evening, and passing this up and going at an earlier time between 5 and 6:30 can help you get better service.
Dining at an earlier time will ensure that both servers and the chefs have more energy. They'll likely be more attentive than they are during the chaotic dinner rush.
The restaurant will likely be less crowded and the staff less stressed, meaning better service, a more relaxing atmosphere, and an easier time getting the reservation you want.
An earlier dinner can also have health benefits, as eating late and going to bed with that full-stomach feeling can cause digestive issues and weight gain.
