The Proper Way To Store Your Bottles Of Triple Sec

The best way to store triple sec is to keep the bottle upright in a cool and dark spot to maintain its flavor. Keep the lid closed after each use or the liquor will evaporate and oxidize.
Wipe away any crystalized sugars that build up around the rim of the bottle so it closes tightly, and double-check it after a night of pouring from the bottle.
Unopened bottles last indefinitely when stored properly. Otherwise, properly stored bottles can last up to a year or longer; just give it a sniff test and check for discoloration.
