The Popular Chain That Carries The Worst Store-Bought Brie

Buttery-tasting and creamy in texture, brie is widely available at grocery stores. However, some store-bought brie can be disappointing, like Trader Joe's Double Cream Brie.
In Tasting Table's taste test of grocery store brie cheeses, Trader Joe's version felt underwhelming, with its mild, middle-of-the-road texture and a relative lack of creaminess.
Agreeing to the review, a Redditor shared that TJ's double cream was "just ok" and suggested that it needs "triple cream." Others pointed out that it improves when ripened.
