Fast food items can be a hit or miss, even those that seem almost impossible to mess up, like burgers. One McDonald's burger that falls in this category is the double hamburger.
In Tasting Table's ranking of McDonald's burgers, the double hamburger fell flat. Its two patties were quite dry, and ingredients like ketchup, onion, and pickle were a bit scarce.
If you've somehow already ordered this item, you can try to salvage the situation by asking for extra diced onions, pickles, and ketchup to mask the dryness and add more flavor.
