The One Hot Cocoa Mix That Gives You Luxurious Sips With Every Cup
By Martha Brennan
There's nothing better for a cold night than a warm cup of hot cocoa. Tasting Table ranked 18 hot chocolates from best to worst, and Jacques Torres Hot Chocolate came out on top.
Jacques Torres Hot Chocolate mix was created by French chef Jacques Torres, a world-renowned chocolatier. Packages are available online through Torres' website or on Amazon.
The mix is made with premium Belgian dark bittersweet chocolate pebbles that melt into a smooth, decadent treat with just the right level of sweetness and no powdery aftertaste.
Torres' recipe calls for four heaping tablespoons of chocolate in half a cup of milk, so the 14-ounce container only yields about seven cups, making the $24.50 price a bit steep.
