Per a recent study, today's customers are seeking higher-quality ingredients in their fast food. Wendy's is now seasoning its fries with sea salt to meet these preferences.
Sea salt, extracted from seawater through evaporation, is a more natural, flavorful, and coarser seasoning than regular salt, making it the ideal complement to Wendy's fries.
When added to Wendy’s natural cut, skin-on potatoes fried in vegetable oil, the sea salt boosts the spuds’ earthy flavor without overpowering it and improves the fries' crispiness.
