The One Dish Martha Stewart Never Purchases From The Grocery Store

Martha Stewart is known for her accessible cooking approach, but you'll never see her in the baked goods section at a grocery store because dessert tastes better when homemade.
She told The Kitchn, "I would never buy a dessert, ever, because homemade desserts are infinitely better." She is especially passionate about making pie by hand.
She explained, "Don't have pie if you don't make it yourself." She cautions against experimenting on your guests and encourages would-be pie makers to practice before.
Baking from scratch gives you control over customization and the ingredients you use. Plus, most big chains cannot replicate the love and attention needed to create a sweet treat.
