The NYC Spot That Served Vincent Price's Favorite Asparagus Dish
BY MATTHEW SPINA
Vincent Price is a legendary figure in American culture. He was a foodie who published a 500-page cookbook, which included his favorite dishes from restaurants around the world.
One such recipe was for Price's favorite asparagus dish at Sardi's in New York City. The asparagus Milanese was topped with fried eggs, which Price had never seen anywhere else.
In his cookbook, Price says he would pop in and get the unique dish as a kind of brunch dish that was satisfying enough to carry him through his work that day.
