The Nostalgic Spin On Iced Coffee You Need To Try
BY CHLOE O'DONNELL
There's a way to combine a grown-up iced coffee drink with one of your favorite beverages from childhood: swap out the milk in your daily brew for chocolate milk.
You can use pre-made chocolate milk for convenience, or create your own by combining milk, cream, half-and-half, or a plant-based dairy stand-in with chocolate syrup.
The resulting iced coffee has a smooth, rich flavor reminiscent of a mocha. If you have an espresso machine and know how to steam milk, you can make this combo even better.
You can put together something of a ragtag mocha by using a shot of espresso instead of standard coffee and steaming the chocolate milk, then combining the two.
Elevate your chocolatey iced coffee even more by using spices like cinnamon or nutmeg, whipped cream, or a dash of peppermint syrup for a festive touch.
