The No-Frills Method For Trimming Packaged Green Beans In A Quick Way
By LENA BECK
It’s good practice to snap the ends off green beans, and if you buy yours in a pre-packaged bag, you can finish your prep work in seconds by trimming the beans through the bag.
Take a bag of green beans and shake them all to one side so that they line up. Lay it down flat, hold the beans in place, and slice off the ends through the bag with a sharp knife.
Repeat the same process on the other side of the bag. This will leave you with neatly-cut green beans that are ready for any recipe you'd like.
