The Nespresso Trick That Gives You A Double Shot Of Espresso

While all Nespresso machines can brew a custom volume, the newest versions can transform almost any pod into a single or double espresso with an extra push of the start button.
This setting does more than just restrict the amount of water; it sets the heat and time to get a balanced-flavored espresso with minimum effort.
If you have a Vertuo machine, check for a concentrated extraction mode by pressing the start button twice. The light should turn turquoise, and the pod will be brewed as a double.
If your machine is older, the Vertuo line machines allow you to stop a brew cycle by pressing the start button, or you can top off your drink with another push.
