The Muffin Tin Hack For Hassle-Free Deep Dish Pizza
BY KAREN HART
A muffin tin is for more than just muffins. It can be used to bake miniature brownies, quiches, and even bite-sized deep dish pizza that's much easier to make than a large version.
To try this, roll out your pizza dough and use a drink glass to punch out round, thin layers of dough. These go into your muffin tin to form a sort of liner to serve as your crust.
Fill the crust cups with a dollop or two of sauce and shredded cheese, your favorite meats and vegetables, and top it off with more cheese and sauce for authentic deep dish flavor.
These handheld pizza cupcakes can be eaten on the go or served on a platter for a dinner party. They also cook faster than traditional pizza, only requiring 15 minutes or less.
Muffin tin pizzas will last for four days in the fridge, or up to three months in the freezer. To reheat, place them in a 400-degree Fahrenheit oven for about seven minutes.
