The Marilyn Monroe Champagne Cocktail Highlights The Star's Favorite Drink

Marilyn Monroe is synonymous with Old Hollywood glamour, and the same can be said of the Marilyn Monroe cocktail, which features the star’s favorite drink — champagne.
The drink is made of champagne, apple brandy, and grenadine, which are shaken together with ice, strained into a martini glass, and garnished with maraschino cherries.
The drink was created at the Waldorf Astoria Hotel and inspired by Monroe’s love of champagne, which the star claimed to drink every morning upon waking up.
While Monroe preferred champagne brands like Piper-Heidsieck and Dom Perignon, you can easily craft this cocktail using whatever your wallet can afford.
