The Left Hand Cocktail Is A Collision Of Bourbon And Chocolate Bitters
BY MICHELLE WELSCH
The left hand cocktail is a spinoff of a classic Negroni and a Manhattan that offers smooth sips of bourbon, Campari, and sweet vermouth with a few dashes of chocolate bitters.
The cocktail is served strained and cold in a coupe glass and garnished with brandied or chocolate-covered cherries.
Chocolate bitters push the more decadent flavors to the front, while cocoa bitters invite dark, rich notes of cacao and spices. The chocolate-covered cherries enhance the drink.
