The Last Thing To Do Before Tossing Those Red Mesh Produce Bags

No one would blame you if you toss away the mesh bag that some produce is sold with, but if you want more bang for your buck, try these tricks for repurposing the bags.
The mesh bag can be used to hang up produce on the wall to clear counter space. If you have many bags, you can ball them up and secure them with a rubber band to create a scrubber.
If you only have one bag, you can wrap it around a sponge for a bit of extra scrubbing power, or hang the mesh bag up to hold wet sponges while they dry out.
If you’re already all set on scrubbers and storage, the simplest way to reuse these bags is to use them to carry produce the next time you’re at the grocery store.
