The Last Thing To Do Before Tossing Empty Olive Oil Bottles
BY LENA BECK
There are a number of ways you can reuse an olive oil bottle, but one of the best things you can do is refill it with more olive oil and keep using it over and over.
Many olive oil bottles are aesthetically pleasing, especially glass ones. They look nice displayed on the counter, and you can even decorate the bottle if you remove the label.
If you buy olive oil in bulk, it's nice to have a light, pourable vessel that looks good on your countertop and it can save you from lugging out a big gallon while you cook or eat.
To repurpose an olive oil bottle, clean and dry it, then refill it. Then, add a label with the expiration date on it, so you can keep track of how old your oil is.
