The Kirkland Soup That Reddit Thinks You Should Totally Avoid
BY Eibhlis Gale-Coleman
While lobster bisque is a firm favorite among seafood lovers, Costco shoppers have taken to Reddit to share that Kirkland's variation of the dish is unlovable.
One thread titled "Kirkland Lobster Bisque — offensively bad" cited a watery consistency and bland flavor. Other criticisms include being too salty and overly sweet.
One person said, "I did get a small piece of shell, so I know some lobster got in the vicinity." The general consensus is that it isn't suitable as a standalone dish.
Some successfully incorporated the soup into a lobster ravioli sauce. If you've already purchased a multi-pack, there's hope if you embrace creativity.
