The Instant Pot Trick That Will Cut Roasted Garlic Time In Half
By KALEA MARTIN
Roasted garlic is a versatile ingredient that can enhance the flavors of virtually any dish. The most common way to roast garlic is through the oven, but another way to roast garlic easily and quickly is by Instant Pot.
Cookbook author Jeffrey Eisner shared the Instant Pot method on “The Rachael Ray Show,” and it starts with cutting off the tops of the garlic heads and then placing them in the trivet insert. Pressure cook the garlic on high for five minutes, then set the Instant Pot to Natural Release for 10 minutes.
Switch out the regular lid for the air fryer lid, drain the water, add olive oil, then set the Instant Pot to broil at 400 degrees for 12 minutes. If an air fryer attachment is unavailable, similar results are achieved by finishing it in a regular oven for 10 minutes.
