The Ingredients Rachael Ray Utilizes For A Spiced Up Potato Salad
BY STEPHANIE MAIDA
There are many ways to whip up a delicious potato salad, and if you like to kick up the gently-flavored potatoes with some spice, look to Rachael Ray's recipe.
Ray uses a blend of fresh, mild bell peppers and sliced, canned hot peppers in her spiced-up potato salad. You can use canned jalapeños, hot pepper rings, and more.
In addition to infusing your spuds with flavor, the peppers enhance the texture of your salad with their distinctive crunch. Ray starts by chopping up a red bell pepper.
The chef then mixes boiled potatoes, both kinds of peppers, and scallions with a splash of hot pepper juice from the can, wine or cider vinegar, and extra-virgin olive oil.
