This literature-inspired bar takes a stodgy library and turns it on its head to create a curated experience designed to cater to the most serious bibliophiles, although everyone is sure to enjoy.

Opened in December 2022, the Library by the Sea boasts floor-to-ceiling windows, a bar made of reclaimed wood, and an inventive menu featuring not just drinks but drinkable stories. The drinks draw inspiration from classics like Ian Flemings's 1954 novel, “Live and Let Die,” Agatha Christie’s “Murder on the Orient Express,” and of course, Hemingway gets a nod.

The cocktail menu itself reads like the classics it emulates, with Short Stories (apéritifs), Page Turners (literary-inspired cocktails), Masterpieces (sharable cocktails), and Rare & First Editions (vintage drinks and limited-edition libations).
