If you're not a fan of eggs but still want to indulge in an omelet or fried egg for breakfast, try scrambled tofu for a healthy and delicious way to start your day.
Tofu can mimic an egg-like taste with the right seasonings. Nutritional yeast adds a cheesy, umami flavor, or seasonings like turmeric, paprika, and soy sauce are great additions.
Dijon mustard is a secret weapon for adding a tangy flavor and an egg-like color. Black salt is another lesser-known option for transforming once-bland tofu into an egg knockoff.
Add a couple of spoonfuls of cream cheese to your scrambled tofu for extra creaminess and healthy fats. Tahini is also a great addition for richness and flavor.
Revamp scrambled tofu by including sauteed diced onions, peppers, spinach, and mushrooms. Top off the dish with sliced avocados and toasted nuts for healthy fats.
