While cooking bacon in the oven has many advantages over the standard stove-top skillet, you should always avoid baking different cuts of bacon on the same baking sheet.
Bacon cuts are of different varieties and thicknesses, so their cooking times are different, too. Even thick and thin-cut bacon strips require different cooking times.
As a result, the thinner cuts of bacon may burn by the time the thicker cuts are ready. To avoid this, place different batches on separate oven racks, setting two separate timers.
