The Easy Addition To Make Store-Bought Cinnamon Rolls Taste Homemade

There are lots of ways to make plain, store-bought cinnamon rolls taste more homemade. Nuts like almonds, walnuts, or pecans, can add a much-needed burst of crunch and flavor.
It's even better if you candy the nuts first. Coat them in a thin layer of egg whites, sugar, and cinnamon or other warm spices like cloves, then lightly toast them in the oven.
Once the cinnamon rolls are baked and iced, or simply warmed up, chop the candied nuts, then sprinkle them over the icing so they stick to the pastries.
