The Downside Of Using Single-Walled Stainless Steel Water Bottles

Reusable, single-walled stainless steel bottles are made from one metal sheet, making them lightweight. Although this bottle is a sustainable choice, there is one major downside.
The main downside is that metal transfers heat very easily, and the bottle's single-walled construction means that these bottles have no insulating ability whatsoever.
If you intend to carry hot coffee, expect the bottle to become scorching hot when you pour it in and the coffee to already be cooling by the time you get to the office.
Likewise, the bottle's outer metal will get quite chilly with a cold drink, and the ice will melt fast. These are great as literal water bottles but aren't suited for much else.
