The Disposable Containers Ina Garten Utilizes Over And Over Again

“Barefoot Contessa” host Ina Garten shared that her go-to reusable container for food storage isn't anything expensive. She prefers a humble deli tub.
Garten said, “I have a lot of what I would call deli containers. [...] I just use them over and over again, and they go in the dishwasher, and they’re great.”
Garten labels the containers with the names and the preparation date of the food inside. This is efficient for make-ahead meal prep or organizing your leftovers.
You can get these containers from a local deli or buy them online in various sizes. Using deli containers to freeze home-cooked meals also saves on money and food waste.
Garten advises, “Instead of going out to dinner, buy good food. Cooking at home shows such affection. In a bad economy, it’s more important to make yourself feel good.”
