The Discontinued Costco Hot Dog You’ll Probably Never Eat Again

The Polish hot dog was available at Costco food courts until it was pulled from the menu in 2018, much to the dismay of many Costco customers.
Compared to Costco’s all-beef hot dogs, which are still served, the Polish dogs were longer and thinner in shape, closer to a kielbasa-style sausage.
According to the Costco customer service page, the dogs were removed from the menu "to simplify our menu and make room for healthier options."
However, it was more likely removed as a business decision motivated by a desire to increase profits since the Polish dog wasn’t as popular as the standard all-beef hot dog.
