The Crescent Roll Trick Chicken Wing Fans Need To Try
By STEPHANIE FRIEDMAN
Buffalo chicken dip is a delicious, easier-to-make version of the classic game day snack, but even when served with chips, the dip lacks the crunch factor of freshly-fried wings.
To add crispness to the dip while also making it more fun and less messy to eat, stuff the dip into store-bought crescent roll dough for bite-sized buffalo chicken pockets.
First, make a standard buffalo dip using cooked chicken, cream cheese, ranch, shredded cheddar, and green onions. You can also add carrots, celery, blue cheese, or even feta.
Next, roll out your crescent dough and either use the classic triangle shape, or cut the pastry into rectangles. Apply dip to the inside of each pocket and then close them.
Brush the rolls with more buffalo sauce, top with extra shredded cheese, and bake. Triangle rolls will take about 15 minutes to bake, while square ones are done after 8 minutes.
