The Creamy Ingredients Featured In Ina Garten's Blueberry Breakfast Cake

If you love coffee cake and other breakfast pastries, you must try Ina Garten’s blueberry ricotta breakfast cake, which features a double dose of dairy for moisture and flavor.
Garten's cake uses not only ricotta, but also sour cream. "The ricotta and sour cream keep the cake moist and the blueberries and lemon zest give it lots of flavor," she says.
Ina Garten superfan and "Store-Bought Is Fine" creator Trent Pheifer tested the cake recipe, and agrees that the ricotta and the sour cream do fantastic things for the texture.
Pheifer also noted that this treat "can be made ahead and remains just as delicious as right out of the oven." Beyond breakfast, it makes a great afternoon snack or dessert.
Besides the cheese, dairy, and fruit, the cake only requires sugar, butter, eggs, flour, and vanilla. Garten says that everyone who comments on the recipe mentions how easy it is.
