The Cold Fashioned Is An Iced Coffee Spin On The Classic Cocktail

If you're a fan of coffee and whiskey and love the thought of combining the two for a perfect chilled drink, look no further than the Cold Fashioned.
The Cold Fashioned is an iced coffee-esque variation of the classic Old Fashioned cocktail. It has the simplicity and elegance of the original with a caffeinated kick.
This drink uses cold brew coffee liqueur with whiskey, bitters, a splash of simple syrup, and an orange peel garnish. You can find cold brew liqueur from brands like Mr Black.
Instead of the two ounces of whiskey in the Old Fashioned, the Cold Fashioned uses one ounce each of coffee liqueur and whiskey. Feel free to use bourbon, rye, or any other type.
Mix all the cocktail ingredients with ice, serve in a classic lowball glass, and garnish with an orange peel. You can muddle a sugar cube in the glass for a sweeter touch.
