The Clever Use For Those Tabs On The Ends Of Tea Bags
BY JAVARIA AKBAR
When brewing tea in taller mugs using tea bags, the string can slip into the tea when the water hits the bag. To avoid this, anchor the tea bag's paper tab on the mug's rim.
Separate the two-leafed paper tab on the tea bag string's end so it looks like a book. Rest it on the mug's rim with one "page" on the mug's inside and the other on the outside.
Now, you can easily remove your tea bag once the tea has reached the perfect sweet spot, preventing it from over-brewing and tasting bitter.
