Pasta is one of those foods that's loved by many. The perfect vessel for just about any ingredient, pasta works exceptionally well with seafood, but are you aware that there's a specific type of pasta that's best paired with seafood?
Linguine is the perfect pasta to pair with seafood. Since seafood pasta is often made with fresher, thinner pasta sauces, the linguine’s long and light shape is perfect for catching ingredients like mussels or clams in each twirl.
The linguine originated in the Italian coastal region of Liguria, where seafood is abundant, and muscles, clams, and shrimp are often added to hand-made linguine in garlic and oil or fresh tomato sauces. Linguine is also tossed with other regional favorites like pesto.
