The Best Trader Joe's Snacks To Make In Your Air Fryer
BY JULIA DUDA
Beef Patties
In an air fryer, Trader Joe's Beef Patties warms up evenly and quickly on the inside, while its flaky turnover-like pastry on the outside stays crispy.
It typically takes a single beef patty about 6-8 minutes to cook at 350 F, though you may leave it in there for a little longer if you want a more browned exterior.
Bird's Nests
When cooked in a microwave, Trader Joe's Vegetable Bird's Nests will have no crispiness. Thankfully, an air fryer will make them delightfully crunchy.
You can typically place three or four nests in the fryer without overlapping or overcrowding. Cook for about 5 minutes at 350 F, then flip and cook for about another 2 minutes.
Chicken Poppers
Buffalo Style Chicken Poppers are delightful snacks. They are particularly good candidates for air-frying because of their triangular shape.
After about 8 minutes of cooking (and flipping halfway through), the edges get super crunchy-crispy while the middle parts stay relatively soft, resulting in a complex bite.
Hashbrowns
Trader Joe's Hashbrowns can go straight from the freezer into the air fryer basket, and they'll cook with crispy, delicious results in just about 6 minutes.
Best of all, you can count on each bite being just as crispy as the last one, elevating this snack to possibly become one of the best Trader Joe's breakfast items.
Mac and Cheese Bites
Cooking Trader Joe's Mac and Cheese Bites in the air fryer will yield a snack or appetizer reminiscent of something straight from the fryers at a restaurant.
Fill the basket with an even layer of the bites and cook for about 8 to 10 minutes, giving them a shake once or twice. They'll come out golden brown outside and gooey inside.
