The Best Method For Air Frying Pork Chops To Perfection
BY EMMA SEGREST
To make perfect pork chops in an air fryer, it’s important to start by preheating thoroughly. Let the air fryer come up to temperature without putting the meat inside just yet.
This will guarantee an even cooking job for the meat and crust. Next, cook the pork chops for six minutes, flip them over, and then cook them for three to five minutes more.
Check the temperature of your meat with a thermometer before serving, since every air fryer heats foods differently. For well-done chops, aim for 160 degrees Fahrenheit.
According to the National Pork Board, you can also cook the chops to 145 degrees Fahrenheit for medium rare, but do not cook them to any temperature lower than this.
To reheat cooked pork chops in the air fryer, preheat your appliance and arrange the chops in an even, flat layer in the basket. Cook them for at least three to five minutes.
Be sure to flip the meat halfway through the reheating time. The internal temperature of each pork chop should be at least 160 degrees before you enjoy them.
