The Berry Clouds took the top spot in Tasting Table's popular Haribo gummy candies ranking. Haribo described them as "a triple-layer foam gummi with a soft, cloud-like texture."
Berry Clouds are tri-color (red, blue, and purple) and tri-flavor (Strawberry, Blueberry, and Wildberry), bottomed by a creamy white "cloud" layer.
Visually, texturally, and flavor-wise, the creamy cloud-like base makes these foamy, marshmallow-y candies stand out from the pack.
Haribo's mastery of chewy-firm-toothy texture is arguably what makes its offerings so iconic. It's this toothiness that makes the soft, chewy Berry Clouds Tasting Table's top pick.
The candy hit the market in 2023 after three years of research and development. It won the 2023 Product of the Year USA award in the non-chocolate candy category.
