The Baking Sheet Tip For Keeping Fried Foods Super Crispy

Deep frying can be troublesome, and your crispy foods turning limp and soggy just minutes after they're done doesn’t help. Fortunately, there is a way to maximize crispiness.
Fried foods have residual heat that needs to escape somewhere. If you use a plate and paper towel for cooling, they act as a barrier, creating steam and softening the foods.
You’ll want to use a cooling rack set over a baking sheet. This gives fried foods the space they need to maintain structural integrity and a rest period for them to finish cooking.
Paper towels can still be useful since you can place them on the baking sheet below to catch any grease that drips down. You can also use them to pat your fried foods dry.
