The 2 Ingredients Starbucks Uses To Make Whipped Cream
BY Michelle Welsch
Instead of standing over a bowl, frothing heavy cream and sweeteners, Starbucks baristas use canisters, pressurized cartridges, and minimal ingredients to make their whipped cream.
Starbucks takes the shortcut using a charger, a device that relies on nitrous oxide to do all the heavy lifting. Its whipped cream uses vanilla syrup and heavy whipping cream only.
The ingredients are poured into metal canisters and given a shake before the cartridges do their job for a few minutes. This yields a thick whipped cream with subtle vanilla notes.
