Texas Roadhouse's Best Cut Of Steak Is Totally Worth The Splurge
BY Austin Havens-Bowen
When Tasting Table's Megan Hageman tried all eight Texas Roadhouse steaks to rank them, she found the chain's bone-in ribeye to be the best of the bunch — and for good reason.
The bone-in ribeye is quite tender. Although every Texas Roadhouse chef is different, you can't go wrong with this hearty cut if the chain is consistent across its locations.
Per Hageman, the bites closer to the bone taste best because the marrow enhances the flavor as it cooks. The cut is the second-most pricey steak on the menu, but it's worth it.
A 20-ounce bone-in ribeye and two sides at a Teterboro, New Jersey, location cost $30.99, which is reasonable, as many other high-end steakhouses offer the same cut for way more.
