Strega Is The Spicy Italian Digestif To Perk Up Your Coffee

If you enjoy a nice cup of coffee after dinner, you should buy a bottle of Strega, an Italian digestif that adds a little herbal zing to your evening espresso.
Strega is a spicy liqueur that's a vibrant yellow color. It’s flavored with a whopping 70 different botanicals, including peppermint, juniper, cinnamon, star anise, and saffron.
Strega's strong herbal flavor should be paired with a bold coffee that won't be overwhelmed. Darker roasts that are heavier and richer make a perfect partner.
Try a ratio of 1 ounce of Strega for every 5 ounces of coffee, and adjust as needed. Strega is so potent that it will impact your drink even in small doses, so add it slowly.
