Start Sprinkling This Secret Ingredient On Your Burgers
BY LUNA REGINA
Grilling season is on the horizon and delicious burgers are the perfect way to kick things off. For elevated flavors, be sure to incorporate some celery salt.
Celery salt is typically a mix of two parts table salt and one part ground celery seeds. It’s salty like regular salt but with the celery's grassy aroma and mildly bitter touch.
It can replace regular salt following a 1:1 ratio. The exact amount varies between recipes and preferences, but half a teaspoon can work for 1 ½ pounds of ground beef.
Simply mix it into the meat alongside other seasonings, divide it into patties, and grill or pan-sear them as usual. You can also incorporate celery salt into your burger sauce.
