Seasoned Butter Is All You Need To Make Imitation Crab Taste Like The Real Deal
BY AUTUMN SWIERS
Imitation crab is an economic alternative made from white fish meat and additives. This processed food can become a culinary gem with one simple ingredient.
To elevate your imitation crab meat, melt a few tablespoons of butter in a saucepan over medium-low heat and add your seasonings of choice.
Any seasonings that generally pair well with seafood, such as Old Bay, dill, lemon balm, parsley, marjoram, tarragon, cilantro, garlic powder, and chili powder, work well.
Add the imitation crab meat directly to the pan of butter, where it will soak up the flavor and come out looking and tasting more like real crab meat.
